Chapter 5: Class-C Forbbiden Item [Ruined Symbols]
The class was very quiet, and the blue light that is showering them is as smooth as water. If one looks closely, one can see that the blue light is made up of a series of numbers.
Wei Feng noticed something strange when he entered his hazy mind.
In addition to this blue light, there are wisps of gray fog in the area of his spiritual power.
This fog had a foul odor.
As more blue light accumulates in Wei Feng’s brain, special numbers-based symbols form.
Wei Feng was taken aback as he watched the gray wisps of fog become restless.
They twisted and stretched until the string of blue symbols was identical.
[You have generated a Class-C Forbidden Item – Ruined Symbols!]
When the prompt sounded, the blue symbols gathered Wei Feng’s mental strength and created a blast that slammed into the first fog barrier in the brain.
The blue symbol shattered, and the fog layer shook violently for about five seconds before returning to normal.
Wei Feng was also stunned and needed five seconds to recover.
It is not easy to open up the brain area; it is also painful.
The blue light and symbols only serve to concentrate mental power in order to breakthrough the fog barrier. Your mental power will be unaffected.
There is a proverb that goes:
“You can achieve anything if you put in enough effort!”
It’s as if a swarm of flies was buzzing around in his head. Wei Feng shook his head vigorously.
He blinked open his eyes. Liu Shuan and LiuWeiwei were also shaking their heads.
A student in the third row fell backwards onto the ground.
“Everyone, don’t be afraid – this is the first time you’ve explored your brain. Once you get used to it, you’ll be fine. ” The teacher explained as he helped the student who had fallen.
Wei Feng’s mouth twitched.
I have to get used to it, alright.
You’ll be labelled as a fool if you can’t get used to it.
In his mind, a sound erupted.
Wei Feng quickly shut his eyes.
The fog barrier in his mind is being corroded by a string of gray “ruined” symbols.
The first layer of the barrier corroded in less than ten seconds, forming a large hole.
Wei Feng was astounded by both the breach of the barrier and the Class-C Forbidden Item.
The symbol then faded away, settling into the brain.
Wei Feng couldn’t care less because the fog barrier had been slightly breached, revealing a whole new world beyond!
Despite its small size, it is vibrantly colored!
Most importantly, Wei Feng’s mental strength effectively quadrupled, reaching 23.
Wei Feng and Liu Shuan ate their free lunch at the academy cafeteria after their morning classes. When Liu Shuan announced that he was going to train his royal beast, they parted ways, and Wei Feng went to the library.
He needs his questions answered.
He can’t ask anyone; he has to answer his own questions by reading books.
Afternoon classes begin at 2 p.m. There is plenty of time.
Wei Feng spent ten minutes looking for a book about forbidden items.
He sat on the ground in a quiet corner to read it.
Forbidden items are graded.
SS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, from highest to lowest.
The Federation only has three Class-SS Forbidden Items in its possession. These are truly Forbidden Items. The birth of any single item has the potential to destroy humanity.
This is not to say that you should disregard other Forbidden Items. Even Class-E Forbidden Items have the potential to obliterate experienced beast masters.
Wei Feng couldn’t stop thinking about the [Ruined Symbol].
Class-C Forbidden Items like that [Ruined Symbol] will undoubtedly destroy him.
It’s like you’ve got a ticking time bomb in your head!
Wei Feng resumed his reading after calming down.
The primary purpose of Forbidden Items is to fortify your beast.
If you want to use this item, you must first meet the usage requirements.
There are no fixed conditions—it’s all trial and error.
It is not an easy process to learn by trial and error.
Finally, the appearance of Forbidden Items!
At the moment, there is only one known method of birthing Forbidden Items, and that is in Restricted areas.
Forbidden Items can only be found in Restricted Areas!
Wei Feng couldn’t help but ponder as he closed the book.
Wei Feng attempted to conjure the [Ruined Symbol] in his mind, but received no response.
Wei Feng could only sense the presence of this symbol and not manipulate it.
Wei Feng stood up after another ten minutes on the ground and placed the book back in its original location. He chose another book about the human brain.
Wei Feng read that even with a guide, breaking the first layer of the fog barrier takes four hours per day, and it would take ten days in total to break!
That is the fastest time in Federation Records.
Wei Feng returned to class at 2:00 p.m.
The teacher summoned everyone to the playground to interact with their beasts once more.
Wei Feng summoned the Stone Man, and because he felt bad about doing nothing, he made the Stone Man move as well.
He fed the Stone Man two stones in less than an hour.
In exchange, the Stone Man’s power increased slightly.
Wei Feng only slept for two hours during the afternoon meditation class.
The first layer of fog in his brain had been broken, rendering the blue light emitted by the guide ineffective.
[Broken Symbols] sank into his brain, and he was now dormant.
Wei Feng arrived home at 6:31 p.m.
Wei Feng tried turning on a light switch, but there was still no light.
When he went to the main circuit to check, he discovered that the power had been turned off because his father had not paid the electricity bill.
Wei Feng lay on his bed, hungry and motionless.
By not moving, he attempted to reduce his body’s energy consumption.
Wei Feng abruptly stood up after another half-hour of sleep.
“I can’t do this!”
“I’m going to eat!”
